PD Measurement

Your pupillary distance, measured by camera.

PD — pupillary distance — is the gap between your pupils. It's a crucial measurement for the perfect fit, and it's now easier than ever. Our tool uses the camera on your phone or computer to give you an instant, precise reading. For best results we recommend an iPhone, which uses the depth sensor in its front-facing camera.

Runtime: -- Confidence: --
Waiting for camera access.
  • Face detected
  • Face size
  • Eyes visible
  • Motion steady
  • Device load
What confidence means: it summarizes how reliable the current frame is for measurement.
Current reason: waiting for camera data.
  • Higher confidence when your full face is visible, centered, and close enough.
  • Lower confidence when eyes are partially hidden, blurred by motion, or face size is small.
  • Device load can also reduce confidence when realtime detection slows down.
Criteria: Low = missing basic alignment (center/size/eyes). Medium = basic alignment passes. High = all checks pass (center + size + eyes + steady motion + healthy device load) for about half a second while head movement stays low.
This PD value is an estimate derived from iris geometry and should not be treated as a clinical or medical measurement.
